To celebrate Father’s Day which will be marked in Australia on 6 September 2015, we’re giving one (1) son or one (1) daughter the chance to show their father how much they appreciate him, by taking them and their father on an exciting adventure trip to the Philippines.

WIN an Exciting Adventure with Dad is a promotion we are running on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from 17 August until 1:00 pm AEST on Friday, 4 September 2015.
The Philippine Department of Tourism in Australia and New Zealand are the organisers of the promotion with Philippine Airlines as the major sponsor.
What is the prize?
An exciting adventure trip to the Philippines which includes:
- Return economy airfares for 2x (daughter or son and their father) to the beautiful island of Cebu, Philippines flying Philippine Airlines.
- Accommodation for 3 nights in a fabulous Cebu resort
Who can join?
Residents of Australia and New Zealand – sons, daughters and their fathers – are eligible to participate.

On Facebook, tell us why you would like to WIN an exciting adventure with your Dad in the Philippines by posting a comment on our promoted post. Be creative with your post – you can simply comment, or in addition share a photo of yourself with your Dad and tag them too.
On Twitter, tweet @PhilippinesANZ the reason you would like to WIN an exciting adventure with your Dad in the Philippines with the hashtag, #PHAdventureWithDad. Alternatively, you can tweet @PhilippinesANZ a photo of yourself with your Dad and include the hashtag, #PHAdventureWithDad.
On Instagram, post any photo and connect your chosen image with your father (this could be a photo of yourself with your Dad) and caption why you would like to WIN an exciting adventure with your Dad in the Philippines. You’ll need to tag @TourismPhilippines and include the hashtag #PHAdventureWithDad in your post.
Each properly tagged post, as above, will be counted as one valid entry.
You can post on any one or on all three social networks, if you use all of them.
How will the winners be chosen?
The Philippine Department of Tourism in Australia and New Zealand will choose the best post based on the following criteria:
- emotive and visual appeal
- how the post and the reason given best convey the spirit of adventure between the daughter/ son and their Dad.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be chosen by The Philippine Department of Tourism in Australia and New Zealand and announced at 5pm on 4 September 2015.
What else do we need to know?
Terms and conditions:
Only residents of Australia and New Zealand (sons/ daughters and fathers) are eligible to join.
Flights from Australia/ New Zealand to the Philippines depart from either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Darwin, Cairns (from 1 December 2015) or Auckland (from 1 December 2015) and arrive in Manila. From Manila, there is another short flight to the final destination, the island of Cebu. From the Philippines going back to Australia/ New Zealand, flights depart from Cebu, then Manila, then back to either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Darwin, Cairns (from 1 December 2015) or Auckland (from 1 December 2015) .
Winners will need to organise their own transport if they are not based in the above departing cities.
Promotion period is EXTENDED until 1:00 pm AEST on Friday, 4 September 2015. Only entries received by this date and time are valid.
Ticket prizes are valid for travel within six months from the date of the promotion and subject to restrictions in peak travel periods.
Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be converted to cash.
Winners need to provide their own spending money for the trip.
Winners may be required to present proof of relationship (son/ daughter and father).
