Day 1-2: Manila
Unpack and unwind in your new city. Take stock and get your bearings before heading out for an explore.
Take a step back in time and explore the heart of the old city. Tours around Intramuros can be organised but make sure you visit Fort Santiago, Casa Manila and San Agustin church. On your way visit Rizal Park for more of an understanding of Manila and the Philippines rich history.
Next why not visit some of the best shopping in the Philippines. Manila is home to some of the biggest shopping centres in the country and features a host of the best global brands as well as some great local offers.
Day 3-5: Coron
Organise an early morning flight to Coron to make the most of your short visit. Coron Town itself sits on Busuanga island so you’ll want a flight to Busuanga and then jump in a van to take you to the centre of town or your hotel.
The highlight of Coron, is the island hopping. For divers you’re spoilt for choice with wreck dives and for non divers theres plenty of places to snorkel and relax. Visit the iconic Kayangan Lake and the colourful Site Pecados on your adventures for some great sights.
Sit back and relax among the mangroves at the local Maquinit Hot Springs. With a handful of different pools featuring different temperatures you will find one that’s right for you.
Start one of your days with a climb up Mount Tapyas. Climb the 700 plus stairs for some brilliant views of Coron Town and the surrounding islands from the viewing deck at the peak.
Explore the wonders of Coron Town itself and head to a local store and pick up some great bargains on Philippine pearls!
Day 6-7: Manila
